Here are my most recent projects, the first is a paper mache faux bois canister I made frompoopscape projects. The color is a little off, but it's still so....interesting. Actually, I'm not sure if I love it, but it's still cool.

The next is something I've been wanting to do for a while. I've been wanting for a while to put something over my bed as a headboard, but I never really found the perfect thing. A few months ago I found a piece of paneling in the garbage, obviously from an apartment that was neing remodeled. I took it out thinking I would use it someday, and it sat on my patio for a while. Then one day I woke up and knew just what to do with it. I painted it, kinda making it up a I went along. I was going more for a collage, but it ended up a little different, and I'm quite happy with the outcome. It's sort of a painting/collage, the birds are cardboard and paper.

Shame on me! and a little serendipity

Wow, I have really been neglecting this little blog of mine... It's not that I don't have anything to post, and it's not that I don't have the time, I'm just not doing it....shame on me! Well, there have been a few recent developments I'll be sharing with you, some home updates(!) so stay tuned for that.

The biggest news right now is that it is almost my one year anniversary!! We are going to the coast to a super cute little hotel with themed rooms! How fun is that! Of course I will not neglect in sharing those pictures :) I got Ezra the perfect paper gift, I cant wait to give it to him! Can you tell I'm so excited?

I can't believe it's already been a year, it has gone by so quickly. We have really matured and learned a lot about each other. And we love each other more now than we did a year ago. I am so blessed to have this wonderful man in my life, he is so good to me. He loves me and he loves God and he strives to be a good man and a good husband. I love everything about him, he makes my life so complete and full.
